On Saturday night I saw Yacht Rock Revue at the 40 Watt Club in Athens. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing or seeing Yacht Rock, then I am so very sorry. They are basically a late seventies, early eighties soft rock and smooth jazz cover band that completely plays the part. It’s just like seeing Hall & Oates or Steely Dan in their prime. All in all a really awesome time.
I was really jazzed they played Kiss on My List (it’s my favorite Hall & Oates jam) but my roommate was the most pumped when they played Rich Girl. What are your favorite Hall & Oates songs? Why don’t you rank em?
